So you ask, "What Is Awana?", "What is a Sparky?", "T&T?"..........

Awana Clubs is a Bible based youth ministry for boys and girls from preschool through high school.
The goal of Awana is committed to reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him.

Each group in the club is divided by the grade the clubber is in school -

Puggles - 2yrs old (by Sept 1) For church members only
Cubbies - 3yrs old (by sept. 1) through Pre-K.
Sparkies - Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.
Truth & Training (T&T) - 3rd through 6th Grade.
Trek 24/7- 7th and 8th Grade.
Journey 24/7- 9th through 12th Grade (Meet on Sunday morning).

Each Wednesday night nearly 300 children descend upon IBC for 2 hours of fun and learning.

The typical night is divided into three segments:

   
1. Game Time 
   Boys and girls play games on the unique Awana Game Circle.
 
2. Handbook Time
   Children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities.
3. Council Time
   This incorporates a Christian based life application message, singing, and presentation of awards earned during the night.

Beside the weekly meetings from September through April, IBC Awana participates in many other events between other churches in the SE Wisconsin area. AwanaGames, Bible Quizzing, Awana Family Night with the Bucks, Honors Camp, Sparky Camp and many others.
