IBC Welcomes Pastor Andy McGowan!
On Sunday, July 23rd, Pastor Andy McGowan accepted IBC's call to become
their 5th full-time Youth Pastor following a unanimous vote by the
membership at a Special Business Meeting the same day. Pastor Andy will
begin his ministry on September 1st, following the completion of his
internship at Martensdale Community Church in Martensdale, Iowa, his home
church. (All three summers during his seminary education, Pastor Andy
worked as a Youth intern in his home church.) He candidated at IBC for four
days which included many meetings, several opportunities to speak to the
teens and getting soaked from head to toe at the Church Picnic - and he
still wants to come!

Pastor Andy recently graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois with a Masters of Divinity degree. He did his undergraduate work at Trinity International University.

Recently, Pastor Andy put a diamond ring on the finger of his girlfriend Allison Olsen from Gurnee, Illinois. Allison is an Elementary Education major at Trinity International University. She will graduate next May following her student teaching assignment. Pastor Andy and Allison are planning a June 23rd wedding.

IBC looks forward with great anticipation for Pastor Andy to begin his ministry here in Kenosha. Pray for him as he wraps up his internship and moves to our city. Pray that God will use him far beyond what he or we can anticipate.
