Our programs are tailored to reach our students with the timeless truths of Jesus Christ presented in a relevant and authentic manner. At Sunday Night Exit 4:12 (Youth Group) students experience music, worship, drama, and a message that speaks to their spiritual, emotional, and relational needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. We exist to glorify God by OUTreach- For students to reach the lost by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. INreach- For students to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus, equipped to engaged this culture with a Christ like worldview and perspective. Upreach- For Student to worship and magnify our Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and truth& Praising his name declaring His worth. We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for every student. We want to proclaim the empowering message of Jesus, his life, death and resurrection. We want to proclaim the Bible in its entirety as authoritative in all areas of life. We want students to be equipped when the leave for college, so that when they are on their own& their faith will be their own. Meet our Staff Pastor Andy McGowan - Youth Associate Pastor Andy has been the Youth Associate Pastor with Immanuel Baptist Church since September 2006. He is excited to work with the students and their families. Pastor Andy was born and raised just south of Des Moines, IA. He attended Faith Baptist Bible College in 2000 and finished at Trinity International University with a BA in Bible in 2003. He later attended and graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters in Divinity in 2006. His previous ministry experience includes; Breakthrough Urban Ministries in Chicago, IL (2001-2006), Youth for Christ in Chicago, Miracle Camp and Retreat Center, and Intern Pastor at Martensdale Community Church in Martensdale, IA (2004-2006). Andy accepted Christ as a young boy after a church service in Jan. 1985. His passion is to see the lost come to Christ and for those who know Christ to grow in Him. His favorite verses are Gal. 2:20, and Psalm 19:1.
