2009 will begin at IBC with a renewed emphasis on prayer -- in the church, in the church's many ministries, amoung friends, and in every family unit. Every member will be encouraged to expand and improve the discipline of prayer in their individual lives, and, in their opportunities when together with other believers. An idea file has been posted on this website to encourage every member in this adventure together. Physical age and spiritual maturity are not issues -- we want every member to join in with us as we bring our praise and petitions before our Lord.

Both the high school and the middle school students of IBC will be heading to their much anticipated winter retreats in January.
The high school students will be heading for Green Bay January 2-4 for the 2009 District Youth Conference at Green Bay's Convention Center. Special speaker will be Jonathan McKee. IBC's Youth Praise Band will be leading some of the worship during the event.
The middle schoolers will head to Lawton, Michigan, January 16-18 for the "Ignite" Ice Camp 2009 at Miracle Evangelical Camp. Besides great speakers and worship, the students will enjoy a big variety of indoor and outdoor events. Further information is also available on the Revolution Student Ministries website.

New Regional Minister to Visit IBC
Dr. Tim Blackburn, our new Regional Minister of our Upper Mississippi Region will visit and preach at IBC on Sunday, February 15th. Tim replaces Charlie Worley who along with his wife Marty were members of IBC. For more information on Tim and the Upper Mississippi Region, visit the UMR website

ESV Study Bible Available!

The much anticipated ESV Study Bible will be released on October 14th locally and on the internet. Both the ESV translation and the Study Bible were directed by Dr. J.I. Packer of Knowing God fame. Locally you can purchase the new study Bible at the Fruit of the Spirit Bookstore on Green Bay Road. The best internet price is at the Westminster Bookstore. Pastor Dave will be preaching from the ESV beginning in 2009.
