A Great Adventure in Jamaica!
It took most of the team twice as long to get home as it did to get to Jamaica, but in between God answered a lot of prayers and multiplied ministry beyond expectations. Dozens of Jamaicans responded to God's invitation to faith in Christ. Hundreds of Jamaican children were loved and challenged through drama, music, and simply playing. The ride home was complicated by a flock of birds which caused a delay and the missing of a connecting flight. But 24 hours later the entire team was back in Kenosha exhausted but rejoicing. But they didn't sleep! Instead they went to the True Freedom Rally and put on one of their Jamaica dramas for large crowd!
True Freedom Rally Invades the Kenosha Bandshell
For the second year, Kenosha evangelical churches (21 churches this year!) joined together on July 2nd at the Kenosha Bandshell for a celebration of Jesus Christ through worship, testimonies, and Bible challenge. Crossing many denominational and ethnic lines, the overflow crowd gathered as one people to praise God! Worship was led by "The Spark" and by a Community Choir.
